Spiked Sedge Stitch Written Pattern
You can use one color, or two colors
Hook size: 4.50 mm
Foundation: Chain multiple of 3 + 2
Abbreviations:
Ch =chain
Sc = single crochet
hdc = half double crochet
dc = double crochet
st = stitch
sts = stitches
Row 1:
Make half double crochet in 3nd chain from the hook and each across. Ch 1, and turn.
Row 2:
In the 1st stitch make [Sc, hdc, dc] , *skip the next 2 sts, [sc, hdc, dc] in the next st. Repeat from * across to final 3 stitches, skip 2, sc in final st. ch 1, turn
Row 3:
In the 1st stitch make [Sc, hdc], dc in the space below the first sc 2 rows below, *skip the next 2 sts, [sc, hdc] in the next st, dc in the space below the sc 2 rows below; repeat from * to end, and sc in final stitch, ch 1, turn.
Repeat row 3 for the pattern
