Hello,
The mini check plaid stitch is a fun colorful stitch that looks much trickier than it is. It uses just one color per row and you work the next row in a new color.
Abbreviations:
ch =chain
Sc = single crochet
dc = double crochet
st = stitch
You can use 3 colors of your choice.
Foundation: chain multiple of 3 +1
I’m using 3.00 mm hook size
Row 1:
Starting in 4th ch from hook, *make 2 dc in next 2 sts, ch 2, skip 2 sts; repeat from * to last 2 sts, 1 sc in last st.
Change the color,
Row 2:
Ch 1, 1 sc in the first stitch, ch 2, skip 2 sts, dc in next 2 sts two rows below (working over chains from previous row); repeat to last 2 sts, 1 hdc in last 3 st.
Rows 3 and more, Rep Row 2 in the following color sequence
