Foundation: chain multiples of 2.
I’m using 4.5 mm hook size
Row 1: Work 1 single crochet in 2nd chain from the hook, 1 single crochet in each chain to end. Turn the work
Row 2: Chain 1, 1 single crochet in base of chain 1, Granule Stitch (Insert hook in the next single crochet, pull up loop, chain 3, you should now have 2 loops on your hook, yarn over and pull through both loops.) in next sc, working behind the gst and pushing it to the front of your work, work 1 single crochet in next single crochet, repeat to end. Turn the work.
Row 3: Work 1 single crochet in 2nd chain from the hook, 1 single crochet in each chain to end. Turn the work
Row 4: repeat row 2
Repeat Row 2 and row 3 until required length.
