Hello,
I’m using 4.50 mm hook size,
You don’t need a specific type of yarn for this project
How to Start a Granny Square
You can start with the magic ring technique
Row 1:
Chain 3, This counts as the first double crochet stitch of the first granny cluster.
Into the center magic ring, work two double crochets (DC), chain two,
Make the second granny cluster. Into the center ring, work 3 double crochets. Chain 2.
Next, make the third cluster: Into the center magic ring, work 3 double crochets. Chain 2.
Then, make the fourth cluster. Into the center ring, work 3 double crochets. Chain 2.
Now, you should have four granny clusters separated by ch-2 spaces at the corners and the last ch-2 space at the end.
To join the round and create the square shape, slip stitch into the top of the first ch-3.
Row 2:
Chain 4, in the first space at the corner, make three double crochets, chain two, and three double crochets, in the next 2 chain make three double crochets, chain two, and three double crochets, repeat
In the last chain 2 space, work: three double crochets, 2 chain, two double crochets
Join with a sl stitch to the 3rd chain of the beginning chain stitches.
