I’m using 5.00 mm hook size
Create your slipknot, and chain any number of stitches
Insert the hook In the third chain from the hook, yarn over pull through the stitch so everything from here is the same as a double crochet, work the first herringbone double crochet, herringbone dc in each remaining chain, turn the work
the Herringbone double crochet is worked in a similar way to the standard double crochet but with a little jiggery pokery of a slip stitch when you first insert the hook into the stitch.
